I'Ve just got frakked by eve, warped into a mission, Eve froze, crashed, took my Video drivers with it, sent me to desktop and here I sit with 640x480 pixels a 4mbit colours! HORRID! I found a backup of my boot.ini and managed to patchwork me a new boot.ini my comp would accept... Alas...there is still the problem of that corrupt **** named Trinity patch on my Computer! How the hell do I get rid of this crap!?!?! Is there a small patch to fix the problem or do I have to download a completely new Eve client to be able to play securely again?!?!
IF THIS WAS A SINGLEPLAYER GAME I JUST BOUGHT; I'D BRING IT BACK AND INFORM "Verbraucherschutz" WHO WOULD PROLLY SUE THE DEVELOPER OF THIS *$&%*"*&º

This is not a problem related to boot.ini being deleted from the system.
Your system probably crashed because your settings can't be afforded by the graphics card you use.
1) I was using classic content graphics 2) After the crash I checked for my boot.ini and it was GONE 3) Had to recreate a boot.ini and after the successful booting up get my graphics back to work... The grpahics problem prolly was a problem on top...but I still had the boot.ini issue...
A game that kills my computer? Back to the shop and Customer protection lobby informed! I tell you!

When I first downloaded and installed Trinity... my comp worked fine...it also worked fine when I booted up today... Only after a random graphics card crash...my boot.ini was gone as well! I WILL NOT FRAKKING PLAY A FRAKKING GAME THAT POTENTIALLY WILL KILL MY BOOT.INI AGAIN!!! I will definitely delete the old copy of Eve if there is no patch to fix the problem! I will try to install a fresh copy! Should any of this bull happen again, you better come up with a REALLY good excuse in form of something in my post box CCP, otherwise I'm gone waiting for.......whatever.... StarTrek Online or Earth'n'Beyond II
